The connecting link or hallway between the lower shops/gym change rooms to the rest of the school has been referred to as the “Tunnel”. This small stretch of hallway which is mostly underground, poorly light, with low ceiling and narrow passage has been limited to it size and improvements by the years of additions that have been added to the facility since 1962. With the major renovations completed in 2011 those barriers limiting improvements have been removed.

This area has seen the raising of the roof creating a loading dock for the school above. The removal/relocation of football lockers, retreatment of walls and improved lighting gives a spacious look. The ceiling material will match the entrance to the gym giving a seamless appearance. It will no longer be the “Tunnel”.
